During the Coronavirus outbreak, Holgates will continue to attend to urgent Boiler breakdowns in Care Homes, Hospitals and Schools. We will also continue to provide repair services for Electrical breakdowns and essential Gas repairs. Any preventative maintenance will be set aside until after the restrictions on the Coronavirus have been lifted.

Your safety and the safety of our Engineers is the most important thing to us and we are monitoring the outbreak situation daily.

Our Engineers ensure that they are following the guidelines about reducing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Our Engineer:

• Will ask you if you or anyone in your home has been diagnosed with Coronavirus or whether you or anyone in your home has been advised to self-isolate
• Will ask you to remain at least 2 metres away from their work area to minimise contact
• Will have a supply of anti-bacterial gel and wipes in their vehicles to ensure their hands are clean before entering your premises
• Will ask for confirmation from you that the job has been completed satisfactorily and then with your permission, will sign the paperwork on your behalf
• Will wipe down all surfaces which they are about to touch and have touched
